Dr. Adrian Pinzon, M.D.
Dr. Adrian Pinzon is the Clinic Director at the Mesa Health and Wellness Center. Originally from El Paso, Texas and found his love of medicine through his father, who is an endocrinologist. Dr. Pinzon speaks English and Spanish and completed part of his medical training in Mexico. He has been practicing medicine for over 10 years. Dr. Pinzon’s philosophy of patient care is to help the patient identify care goals and values in order to make the best choices for themselves and their family. Dr. Pinzon works to gain his patients’ trust so he can help them become healthier and achieve their goals. His specific clinical interests include endocrinology, diabetes, and women’s health. Dr. Pinzon and his wife, Erika, have two  children and they enjoy traveling and attending concerts together. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, water skiing, and snow sports.

Katie Krahe, MS, PA-C
Katie Krahe, MS, PA-C completed her undergraduate studies at Northern Arizona University, preparing her for advanced studies at A.T. Still University, where she graduated with a Masters of Public Health and a Masters of Physician Assistant. Her tenure in medicine has included Clinical Coordinator at Hll-top Research and Clinical Research Advantage. She has practiced locally with Caring for Families, Regent Medical Urgent Care, and a Telemetric Practice.

Dustin Ivanic, RN MSN FNP-C
Dustin Ivanic has been a healthcare professional for 24 years. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University and his Master of Science – Family Nurse Practitioner at Grand Canyon University. His medical background is diverse including specialization in chronic disease management and urgent care. He has provided care to patients across the full age spectrum. Dustin was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Arizona when he was 13. His wife is an OB/GYN nurse, and they have been married for 22 years. They have two teenage children. Dustin enjoys hiking and biking for exercise, reading, traveling with his family, and has a passion for professional football.

Kaylen Ballenger, FNP
Kaylen was born in Utah and raised in Mesa. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2013 and in 2021 graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, also from Grand Canyon University. Kaylen worked as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for 2 years before transitioning to Telemetry, where she worked for 6 years both inpatient and outpatient prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She comes to the City of Mesa Health and Wellness Center after working as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, however her passion is in Family Practice. When Kaylen is not working, she enjoys traveling and spending her days out on the lake with her family. She is happily married to her spouse of 3 years and has enjoyed her most recent job of Mom to her 3-month-old daughter.

Kristalle Payano, MS, PA-C
Kristalle was born in the Philippines and grew up in NY/NJ. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. Since graduating in 2011, she has been working in the field of dermatology and has treated all ages and skin types. She is passionate about skin cancer prevention and education. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and young son.
