Nicole B. Stec, MBA, CWP, CSCS
Nicole Stec, our Employee Health and Wellness Manager, is excited to offer her experience and resources to the City of Mesa’s Health and Wellness efforts for employees and their families.
For the past ten years, Nicole has worked in community and corporate health settings, designing and implementing well-being strategies for organizations, including healthcare systems, small businesses, the U.S. military and local government.
In her current role, Nicole is responsible for the City of Mesa’s Health and Wellness Center and the City’s worksite wellness program. The Wellness Center and Program offer several resources to City of Mesa employees and families, including chronic disease self-management programs, health coaching, preventative health services and screenings.
Nicole is a graduate of the University of Southern California, a Certified Wellness Practitioner (National Wellness Institute), an Integrative Health and Lifestyle Specialist (University of Arizona) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (National Strength and Conditioning Association).
Cassandra Coonts, BS, CHES
Cassandra Coonts, Health Educator, grew up in and is a current resident of the City of Mesa. She is excited to work for the City of Mesa and improve the health and well-being of their employees and families. She graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Exercise and Wellness, concentration in Health Promotion. She has over five years experience working at HonorHealth as a Wellness Coordinator for the Corporate Health Department. She truly has a passion for helping others and living a healthy way of life.
Cassandra enjoys being a mom to two beautiful little girls ages 3 and 1. Family means everything. They love going to the park, playing with their dog and simply spending time together.
